I probably would hesitate over the word 'cure' as well, and think in terms of extension of life - though it seems cure isn't off the agenda in many cases.

I guess it does feel a bit different from the inside. The fact that I thought I had some idea before I got this of what those with some deadly cancer might be going through, but now know I hadn't the faintest, is the really sobering thought.Denis Wrighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12786035137418348609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5722735165669239585.post-68501274468025290972012-05-22T14:50:50.449+10:002012-05-22T14:50:50.449+10:00Hello Denis

I hope you will write about why you decided to delay starting Avastin, because it's a valuable struggle to understand. Similar (perhaps?) to Steve Jobs who decided not to turn to surgery upfront, and missed the chance for cure through that decision. (At least, that's what the media I read suggested.)

At the same time as finding this fascinating, it's also terrible to know that you're writing about YOUR LIFE and YOUR FUTURE. Very sobering and confronting. Thank you for your honest courage.

Warmest thoughts

JoanneAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
