Funeral Arrangements



A Funeral Service will be held for Denis at 

Piddington's Crematorium Chapel, Uralla Road, Armidale

at 10.00 am on Friday the 13th of December 2013


Not being in the slightest superstitious, Denis would be most entertained by this.


The date will be 13-12-13


A friend pointed out that if you phone that number you are connected to Qantas Freight.

Denis would also find this highly amusing.

First class freight I would think.

Take my word for it. Don't make the call. 
We don't want them thinking that they are suddenly popular.

    First class indeed for such a wonderful soul! He would indeed by much amused by the date I am sure. I am saddened that I am unable to attend, but will take some comfort in being able to call the number at 10am just to check on their timetable. ;-)

    Please forgive this intrusion, but some notices suggest a direction for those who wish to record their regards by way of donation rather than flowers. I would appreciate knowing if the family, or Denis, has/had a view on this. kvd

      Denis didn't want any such direction. He figured that after already grieving for four years, I should get the flowers.

    I wish I could come. I might send you some flowers a little further down the track, rather than on the day, if you don't mind. You might need a postponed treat. What are your favourite colours/flowers? And don't forget Floriade (in all its tawdry glory) I haven't forgotten. Zxxx
