Most of what you’ll read here is life and fun, with episodes from my past, amusing and serious. But I have an unwelcome stranger lodged in my brain, as you’ll find if you explore my stories. Our destinies are interlocked, but its deadly presence reminds me every minute that each day of life is a miracle. This is my space to reflect on life, and an interactive area where we can share our experiences freely. Without you, this blog has no reason for existence. Carpe Diem!

Some iPads simply refuse to post responses. I have no idea why, but be aware of this.

First class indeed for such a wonderful soul! He would indeed by much amused by the date I am sure. I am saddened that I am unable to attend, but will take some comfort in being able to call the number at 10am just to check on their timetable. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove to you all. I will be with you despite the distance.
Scott
Hey dear Scott. I know you really wanted to come. If you could talk to Denis about not being able to make it, what do you think he would say? There is your answer. In actual fact, he is not going to be there either :-) Love Trace xo
DeletePlease forgive this intrusion, but some notices suggest a direction for those who wish to record their regards by way of donation rather than flowers. I would appreciate knowing if the family, or Denis, has/had a view on this. kvd
ReplyDeleteHi kvd
DeleteDenis didn't want any such direction. He figured that after already grieving for four years, I should get the flowers.
Trace
I wish I could come. I might send you some flowers a little further down the track, rather than on the day, if you don't mind. You might need a postponed treat. What are your favourite colours/flowers? And don't forget Floriade (in all its tawdry glory) I haven't forgotten. Zxxx
ReplyDeleteTracey,
ReplyDeleteI was just going to ask the same as z - any preferences, re those flowers?
Jeni
I can't be there in person, but will be there in spirit. Raising a glass to Denis' memory, & to you Tracey. Thanks for everything. :-)
