More about Denis Wright

No-one needs to know all this stuff in any great detail, really. It's dragged from my final CV when I retired from teaching and research at the University of New England in 2007.

Unless you want all these details listed below, the main point is that I've published books, articles and papers in Asian history, religions and culture, modern Asian politics and societies, gender studies, women and work, trafficking women and children across Asia, and child labour. The country I have lived in [excluding Australia] and studied most closely is Bangladesh.

My  Ph D was written on the emergence of Bangladesh. My MA was on India-Pakistan Relations, and Honours theses were on the Kashmir Dispute and the origins of Pakistan.

Denis Wright BA Hons (UQ), Dip Teaching (KGCT), MA, Ph D (UQ).
